Dear Mr. Adams:

I am writing this letter to thank you for your reading program.  Mere words could not express how truly grateful I am.

Out of the four children I home school, two have had learning difficulties. The oldest, now 13 years old, has severe dyslexia.  She is also a kinesthetic learner.  After four years, and four different reading programs, I had a daughter that still could not read.  At least she believed she could not read.

Needless to say, I was at the end of my rope.  Through tears and prayers, I sat down at the computer....searching for the right program.  Your website caught my eye.  All the information on your website seemed to describe our situation completely.  I called very late one evening, expecting to hear a message machine, and surprisingly reached you directly.

My daughter was set up on your program last winter.  The first session she sat there and cried, refusing to even try.  By the end of the lesson, she began to participate.   Within a few weeks I was hearing her read for the first time, and her fears of reading were gone!  You have not only been able to teach her how to read while overcoming her disability, but you have built a confidence in her that we have never seen.

This program was so successful for her, we signed my son up.  At nine years old, he was also struggling to read. Though he has never been diagnosed with dyslexia, he has had a speech disability.

He also refused to read for that first lesson.  He was convinced that he could not read.  Mr. Adams, you were so encouraging, understanding, and sensitive to his situation.  He soon responded to your teaching.  Surprisingly, he caught on quickly and read through his first story within a few weeks.  At this time, he is reading quite well, and we have been taking your advice to use this program to help him with his speech problems.  We have seen remarkable progress in his speech.

Again I thank you for your program.  I have been amazed at how you can read with someone for only a few minutes and be able to pin point his or her problems that need to be addressed.  Furthermore, you actually customize each child's program to meet  individual needs. It has been a blessing to our family, and I believe the only program of its kind.

Sincerely,

Rivers Gydesen
